Monday’s regatta was quite breezy, with winds at the start in the 8-14mph range. Winds varied throughout the afternoon, but did not pick up as forecasted, and for the most part, settled down in the later stages of racing. 12 races were sailed in all, the first 3 races were 2 laps and the final 9 were 1 lap. There were 2 throw-outs per skipper.
As usual, Jerry Robertson started with a bang, winning the first 2 races. Bob got it together and tied it up after 6 races and pulled out ahead, winning 4 of the final 6 races. Marc Koenig, Cory Nyman and Leland battled for 3rd place in the beginning races, though Marc prevailed. George Anzalone sailed well, though had water short out his servo and had to retire. Greg was out with #127, but also retired.

Skipper of the day was Marc Koenig. He was usually in the hunt and frequently challenging Bob & Jerry for the lead. He had 2 second place finishes, beat Bob once and Jerry once; no small feat. Marc also held off challenges from Leland and Cory, finishing 2nd or 3rd in the final five races. Thanks to new comer Ken Gibson for keeping score.
